Five minutes is the workhorse. This free 5 minute bomb timer runs cleanup races, math-drill blocks, journaling sprints, and the last stretch before pack-up. It is the length teachers reach for by default, which is why it gets its own preset on every timer screen.
The classic use is the cleanup race: start the fuse, put it on the smartboard, and watch a room reset itself before the boom. Our dedicated cleanup timer page turns it into a repeatable routine instead of a one-time trick.
Five minutes also fits centers and stations. When one rotation ends, tap Run it again and the next group is on the clock. For longer rotations, try the 10 minute bomb timer, or set any custom time up to an hour.
Working with a longer block of time? The 1 hour bomb timer gives you the full sixty minutes with the same cartoon fuse.
Teaching a class? The classroom timer runs the same bombs on the smartboard, with no ads on the page.
