Twenty minutes is test-and-task territory. This free 20 minute bomb timer handles quizzes with written answers, timed essays, silent-reading blocks, and the kind of chores that deserve a little dramatic tension.
A tip for assessments: the bomb gives a natural halfway cue. When the fuse looks half burned, students should be moving to the second half of the paper. No clock-watching math required; the picture is the information.
Twenty minutes is also a fair screen-time session or a solid instrument-practice block at home. If you need a full class period, the 30 minute and 1 hour timers run the same friendly countdown.
Teaching a class? The classroom timer runs the same bombs on the smartboard, with no ads on the page.
