BombTimer started with a simple observation: kids tune out plain clocks and gray progress bars, but they light up the second a cartoon fuse starts to burn. So we built a free online bomb timer with personality: a roster of friendly bomb characters that turn “two minutes left” into a race worth winning.
Who’s behind it
BombTimer is made by a husband-and-wife team of homeschool parents. We taught all of our own children at home, so every timer trick on this site (cleanup races, beat-the-clock drills, wiggle breaks) was tested on real kids at a real kitchen table long before it became a website. We would have loved a site like this back then. It would have been a far better resource than the plain stopwatch we ran everything on.
Made for many uses
Teachers use it as a classroom timer for cleanup races, transitions, and quiz drills. Parents use it for chores, screen time, and bedtime routines. It works on any screen, needs no sign-up, and stays kid-safe by design.
Free, with a tiny upgrade
The timer and three bombs are free forever. A one-time $4.99 unlock adds the other nine, and a few light ads and Amazon affiliate links help us keep the whole thing running. No subscriptions, ever.
