Other timer lengths
Four minutes is the in-between length that turns out to be exactly right surprisingly often. This free 4 minute bomb timer fits warm-up problems, short cleanup missions, snack countdowns, and timed challenges where three minutes feels rushed and five feels generous.
One teacher trick: use four minutes as a soft deadline. The official task is five minutes of work, but the bomb is set to four, so finishing early feels like a win and the last minute becomes a calm buffer instead of a scramble.
If your room runs on round numbers, the 3 minute and 5 minute bomb timers are right next door, and the +30s button turns any of them into four and a half on demand.
Teaching a class? The classroom timer runs the same bombs on the smartboard, with no ads on the page.
