Two minutes is the transition sweet spot. This free 2 minute bomb timer covers packing up, switching centers, partner talk, and the eternal classroom mystery of how long it takes 25 kids to line up. Short enough to keep urgency, long enough to be fair.
Try it as a think-pair-share clock: one quiet minute to think, then the fuse comes out for two minutes of partner discussion. At home, two minutes handles toy pickup in one room, teeth brushing with a show-off finish, or fair turns on the trampoline.
If transitions are your main use, the dedicated transition timer starts at two minutes and adds research-backed classroom tips. For tidy-up jobs that need more room, jump to the 5 minute bomb timer or the cleanup timer.
Working with a longer block of time? The 1 hour bomb timer gives you the full sixty minutes with the same cartoon fuse.
Teaching a class? The classroom timer runs the same bombs on the smartboard, with no ads on the page.
