How to run a cleanup race
Set the cleanup timer (5 minutes works for most rooms; try 2 minutes for a quick center tidy or 10 for a big reset), put it on the smartboard or TV, and challenge everyone to beat the bomb. A visible countdown turns cleanup into a game and ends the “are we done yet?” negotiation: kids can see exactly how much time is left and pace themselves.
It works just as well at home for toy pickup, room resets, and backpack-and-go time at the end of the day. Pair it with a cleanup song, and tap Custom for any length you like.
